Device under test
Provide cell or stack dimensions, connection drawing and operating window before choosing fixtures.
A configurable laboratory platform for PEM electrolyzer polarization, durability and operating-condition studies, integrating programmable DC power, controlled water and temperature, back-pressure capability, safety interlocks and real-time data acquisition.
Configuration Note: The published ranges describe the reference configuration. Confirm the DUT, active area, current, voltage, pressure, temperature, fixture, gas-analysis and data requirements before ordering.
The platform combines the principal subsystems required to operate and observe one PEM electrolyzer DUT under controlled laboratory conditions. It provides substantially more control, instrumentation and safety capability than a basic teaching rack while retaining a compact single-channel architecture.
0–15 V · 0–60 A · CC / CV
A programmable DC power supply supports constant-current and constant-voltage operation for polarization, durability and operating-condition studies.
0.15–600 mL/min · DI Water · Room Temp–80°C
The water-management circuit supports adjustable deionized-water flow, automatic refill, conductivity monitoring and controlled temperature.
0–0.4 MPa Reference · 3 MPa Optional
Back-pressure control supports defined pressure studies, while higher-pressure configurations require compatible DUT, fixture, piping and acceptance criteria.
Touchscreen · USB · RJ45 Ethernet · Real-Time DAQ
The platform combines touchscreen operation, alarms and real-time acquisition of electrical, thermal, pressure, flow and conductivity channels.
Configuration review
Start with the application, required measurements and operating boundary. A model label alone does not establish which modules, interfaces or records are included.
Provide cell or stack dimensions, connection drawing and operating window before choosing fixtures.
State current, voltage, power and the control mode needed for the planned tests.
Define water temperature, pressure and gas handling, sensors, sampling frequency and export format.
Agree interlocks, calibration or verification scope, commissioning and the test protocol supplied with the rack.
Connect the PEM electrolyzer and approved test fixture according to the defined electrical, water and gas interfaces.
Set current or voltage, water flow, temperature and applicable pressure conditions within the approved test envelope.
Operate polarization, durability or operating-condition studies under the defined procedure.
Acquire voltage, current, temperature, pressure, flow and conductivity data from the configured channels.
Use the available data interface to support performance comparison, research records and laboratory analysis.

Configuration Note: The 3 MPa pressure configuration, hydrogen-flow measurement, dedicated fixture and online gas-composition monitoring are optional and must be specified separately. Published accuracy values apply only to the relevant supplied measurement channel and test method.
Determine the active area, cell count and physical fixture requirements of the device under test.
Select the required current and voltage limits to support your polarization and durability protocols.
Verify if standard 0–0.4 MPa is sufficient or if the optional 3 MPa configuration is required.
Confirm the required flow range, conductivity limits and thermal management capacity.
Identify if optional gas-composition monitoring (H₂-in-O₂ / O₂-in-H₂) or gas flow measurement is needed.
Ensure the DAQ channels, touchscreen interface and export formats match laboratory requirements.

Inside HELE
Before delivery, the platform configuration should be checked against the approved DUT interface, power range, water and gas connections, instrumentation and safety logic. The handover package can then identify which functions were verified and which calibration or test records are included.
Check the module list, connections and instruments against the order drawing.
Define the test conditions, records and documents required for release.

Inquiry
A test platform should be specified around the device under test and the measurements you need to trust. Share the stack interface, electrical range, fluid conditions and data requirements; HELE can review the appropriate single-channel configuration.
