Drawing-Based Manufacturing

Titanium Manufacturing Support Built Around Your Drawing

Industrial titanium projects rarely depend on one process alone. Material grade, product form, dimensional tolerance, forming or welding requirements, surface condition, inspection scope and delivery documentation must work together.

HELE Titanium helps buyers define and coordinate the agreed manufacturing scope. We review the drawing and order requirements first, identify the appropriate material and process route, and confirm which capabilities and documents apply to the project.

The final manufacturing, inspection and delivery scope is confirmed in the quotation and purchase-order review. Process ownership—HELE-controlled or qualified external processing—should be disclosed for the relevant order.

What to Send for a Useful Technical Review

A complete inquiry does not need to be long. It needs to contain the information that changes material selection, manufacturability, inspection and commercial scope.

Do not include unnecessary personal data or uncontrolled customer information. If the project requires confidentiality or a specific file-transfer method, state that requirement before sending sensitive drawings.

  • ✓Titanium grade and applicable material standard
  • ✓2D drawing, 3D model, BOM or controlled specification
  • ✓Dimensions, tolerances and critical features
  • ✓Required surface condition or finish
  • ✓Prototype, batch and expected repeat quantity
  • ✓Application and relevant service conditions
  • ✓Inspection, MTC, CoC, NDT or third-party requirements
  • ✓Delivery destination, target date and applicable Incoterm

Service Workflow

From Drawing Review to Order-Defined Delivery

Each stage should reduce uncertainty before the next commercial or manufacturing decision.

  1. 1

    Requirement Review

Review drawing, grade, application, quantity, tolerance, surface, inspection and delivery requirements.

  2. 2

    Material & Process Route

Define the proposed material, manufacturing operations and applicable process ownership.

  3. 3

    Technical Alignment

Confirm drawing revision, scope, documents, exclusions, commercial terms and delivery basis.

  4. 4

    Production & Inspection

Complete the agreed production and inspection scope against defined acceptance criteria.

  5. 5

    Packing & Delivery

Prepare agreed packing, marking and documents; delivery responsibility follows the Incoterm.

Quality Planning

Define Inspection and Documentation Before Production

“Full documentation” does not mean the same thing for every buyer. An MTC identifies material information; a dimensional report records measured features; a CoC confirms conformity to an agreed order scope; FAI, NDT or third-party inspection may be required for specific projects.

Tell us which records, standards and acceptance criteria are required. Availability and scope will be confirmed during quotation and purchase-order review.

Material Records

Define the material information and traceability records required for the order.

Dimensional Inspection

Identify critical features, acceptance criteria and the required result format.

Quality Documents

Confirm CoC, inspection plan, FAI or other project-specific records before production.

Third-Party Coordination

State the approved party, witness point, report and commercial scope when required.

Scope Before Claims

A Technical Review Before a Sales Promise

A useful titanium manufacturing partner should do more than repeat a list of processes. The supplier should identify the inputs that affect material suitability, manufacturability, inspection and delivery risk.

HELE Titanium begins with the drawing and order requirements. Our role is to clarify the scope, coordinate the confirmed material and manufacturing route, and document what can—and cannot—be supplied for the specific project.

01

Drawing-Based Review

Start with geometry, material, tolerance, quantity and application—not a generic catalogue.

02

Clear Manufacturing Scope

Identify agreed operations, documents, exclusions and applicable process ownership.

03

Order-Defined Evidence

Align inspection and documentation with the buyer’s approval requirements.

04

OEM Supply Coordination

Connect prototype, revision, repeat production, packing and shipment requirements.

Engineering Questions

Titanium Fabrication Services — Frequently Asked Questions

What information do you need to quote a custom titanium part?
Please provide the titanium grade and standard, a controlled drawing or model, dimensions and tolerances, quantity, surface requirement, application, inspection documents and delivery destination. If some information is unavailable, identify the critical function and our team will list the remaining inputs needed for review.
Can HELE supply both titanium material and finished parts?
HELE Titanium supports titanium materials and drawing-based manufacturing. The applicable material form, processing route, inspection scope and process ownership are confirmed for the specific quotation.
Which titanium grades can you fabricate?
Grade availability depends on the product form, standard, dimensions, process route and documentation requirement. State the required grade and standard in the inquiry; do not rely on a general grade list as confirmation for a specific order.
Can you work from a sample if no drawing is available?
A sample, photos and application information may support an initial review, but critical dimensions, tolerances, material requirements and acceptance criteria must be defined before controlled production.
What tolerances can you hold?
Tolerance capability depends on geometry, material condition, size, process, quantity, surface requirement and inspection method. HELE does not apply one blanket tolerance to every titanium component. Send the drawing so the critical features can be reviewed.
What inspection documents are available?
Depending on the order, documents may include material records, dimensional results, a certificate of conformity or other agreed inspection records. FAI, NDT and third-party inspection are project-specific and must be confirmed before production.
Do you provide prototype and repeat-production support?
Prototype and repeat-supply requirements can be reviewed as part of an OEM program. Include the qualification stage, prototype quantity, expected batch or annual demand, drawing-revision process and required approval documents.
Can you arrange international delivery?
Packing, export documentation and shipment coordination can be defined for the order. Responsibility, cost and risk transfer follow the agreed Incoterm and contract terms.
Is every process completed in-house?
Process ownership depends on the service and project. HELE should identify whether an operation is directly controlled, completed by a qualified external processor or arranged on a project-specific basis during quotation review.
How quickly will I receive a quotation?
Timing depends on drawing completeness, technical complexity and the required supplier or inspection review. After receiving the inquiry, the team will confirm missing information and the next technical step.
