Buyer Role 1
Water Treatment OEMs
Integrate electrodes and cells into repeatable treatment equipment.

Water Treatment Applications
Start with water chemistry, the required electrochemical reaction and the equipment boundary. Those inputs—not the words water treatment alone—determine the relevant electrode or system path.
Water Treatment Buyer Guide
Electrochlorination, oxidation, wastewater treatment and scale control use different reactions and success criteria. The water analysis, electrical duty, flow conditions and required supply scope determine which electrode, cell or equipment path is relevant.
Buyer Teams
Engineering, integration, quality and procurement teams evaluate different parts of the same purchase. The strongest inquiry connects their technical and approval requirements.
Buyer Role 1
Integrate electrodes and cells into repeatable treatment equipment.
Buyer Role 2
Define process duty, power, hydraulics, controls and system boundary.
Buyer Role 3
Evaluate project conditions, replacement needs, inspection and operating evidence.
Industry Application Map
Each application is a routing point, not a blanket suitability claim. The buyer question determines the next technical review.

Application 1
On-site oxidant generation for defined brine or seawater duties.
Buyer question: What chloride level, output, flow, temperature and operating profile apply?

Application 2
Electrode-based oxidation or treatment for a characterized wastewater stream.
Buyer question: What contaminants, COD or target outcome, conductivity, pH and batch or continuous mode apply?

Application 3
Electrochemical equipment for defined water circuits and maintenance goals.
Buyer question: What water analysis, flow, hardness, duty cycle and cleaning strategy apply?

Application 4
Project-specific electrodes for a documented reaction and cell design.
Buyer question: Which reaction, electrolyte, current density, geometry and evidence define success?
Engineering & Procurement Reality
Decision Factor 1
Chloride, hardness, organics, pH, conductivity and contaminants affect electrode and process selection.
Decision Factor 2
Current, current density, voltage, waveform, polarity and duty cycle must be defined.
Decision Factor 3
Flow, residence time, gas release, electrode spacing and connection influence system performance.
Decision Factor 4
Target life, cleaning, scaling, coating concern and replacement strategy need measurable criteria.

HELE can review material, component, electrode or system scope only after the parameters and evidence responsibilities are clear.
Potential HELE Scope
The table shows possible relevance and the qualification basis needed before quotation. It does not state that every product is approved for every application.
| Product Family | Industry Relevance | Qualification Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium Anodes & Electrodes | MMO, platinized or other electrode types may be relevant after chemistry and reaction review. | Electrolyte, concentration, pH, temperature, current density, geometry and target life. |
| Titanium Cells & Components | Electrolytic cells and titanium components can be reviewed against equipment drawings and process duty. | Flow, pressure, dimensions, connection, sealing, material, inspection and system boundary. |
| Electrochlorination Equipment | Hypochlorite or electrochlorination inquiries can be routed by required output and installation conditions. | Feed salinity, available power, output target, control, cooling, cleaning and site environment. |
Project Inputs
Unknown items can be marked for follow-up. They should not be silently guessed.

Qualification Boundary
Electrochlorination, hypochlorite generation, advanced oxidation, wastewater treatment and scale control use different chemistry and success criteria. A coating or electrode cannot be selected reliably from the industry name alone.

Industry FAQ
There is no single water-treatment anode. The reaction, water chemistry, chloride, pH, temperature, current density, geometry and target life determine the review.
Not reliably. A current analysis, process objective and electrical conditions are needed before coating or electrode configuration can be discussed.
OEM and integrator inquiries can be reviewed for electrodes, cells or selected equipment scope when the system boundary and repeat requirements are defined.
Provide the existing anode drawing, substrate, coating if known, process chemistry, operating data, failure mode, service history and connection details.
Service-life expectations require agreed operating conditions, design basis, exclusions and evidence. They should not be inferred from a generic page.
A useful first review connects the treatment objective to the actual water analysis, electrode geometry and operating conditions. HELE can then identify whether the inquiry belongs to an anode, cell, replacement or equipment path.
