How Titanium Clad Copper Works?

Titanium outside for corrosion resistance. Copper inside for current transfer.

Titanium-clad copper combines a titanium outer layer with a conductive copper core through a metallurgical bond. The two materials remain distinct while working as one composite conductor.

This structure is commonly used in electrolysis, electroplating and hydrometallurgy where the conductor requires both electrical performance and protection from the process environment.
